چکیده
Let G be a graph. A G-trade of volume m is a pair (T ,T ′), where each of T and T ′ consists of m graphs, pairwise edge-disjoint, isomorphic to G, such that T ∩T ′ = ∅ and the union of the edge sets of the graphs in T is identical to the union of the edge sets of the graphs in T ′. Let X(G) be the set of non-negative integers m such that no G-trade of volume m exists. In this paper we prove that, for G ∈ G(n, 12 ), {1, 2, . . . , cn/ log n } ⊆ X(G) holds asymptotically almost surely, where c = log(4/3)/88.

متن کاملSufficient conditions for maximally edge-connected and super-edge-connected
Let $G$ be a connected graph with minimum degree $delta$ and edge-connectivity $lambda$. A graph ismaximally edge-connected if $lambda=delta$, and it is super-edge-connected if every minimum edge-cut istrivial; that is, if every minimum edge-cut consists of edges incident with a vertex of minimum degree. In this paper, we show that a connected graph or a connected triangle-free graph is maximall...
متن کاملPackings in Complete Graphs
We deal with the concept of packings in graphs, which may be regarded as a generalization of the theory of graph design. In particular we construct a vertexand edge-disjoint packing of Kn (where n 2 mod 4 equals 0 or 1) with edges of different cyclic length. Moreover we consider edge-disjoint packings in complete graphs with uniform linear forests (and the resulting packings have special additi...
متن کاملDense packing on uniform lattices
We study the Hard Core Model on the graphs G obtained from Archimedean tilings i.e. configurations in {0,1} with the nearest neighbor 1’s forbidden. Our particular aim in choosing these graphs is to obtain insight to the geometry of the densest packings in a uniform discrete set-up. We establish density bounds, optimal configurations reaching them in all cases, and introduce a probabilistic cel...
متن کاملOptimal Packings of Hamilton Cycles in Sparse Random Graphs
We prove that there exists a positive constant ε such that if log n/n ≤ p ≤ n−1+ε, then asymptotically almost surely the random graph G ∼ G(n, p) contains a collection of bδ(G)/2c edge-disjoint Hamilton cycles.
